Dazzling Stars
Since the beginning of the year, I had been working on this quilt for my in-laws. "Dazzling Scraps" (Quilt Magazine Jan/Dec 2012) was chosen as our Sew Day group project for the year. It was a fun scrappy project to put together! I named my version "Dazzling Stars" and that's pretty much what we've all called it from the beginning anyway!
My mother-in-law asked me if I could make a set of "regular" pillowcases to go with it, so when they came to visit, I made the guest bed up with their new quilt and pillowcases. I guess my father-in-law thought that the pillows were for him as well and packed them right up in the car. I guess making up the bed wasn't my best idea because I used my husband's Marriott pillows that I bought for him last Christmas! Uh-Oh!

That's too funny! At least it was your husband's dad who took his pillows! LOL

ReplyDeleteLooking through your blog, I see we have a lot in common...military spouses, love for quilting and Bonnie Hunter, longarms, etc. I'll definitely add you to my "favorites" list. :) Thanks for stopping by!
